Blue Diamond Society with the support of Right Here Right Now organized National Consultation Meeting on SOGIESC and SRHR on June 16 and June 17, 2022 at Park Village Resort, Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu. The event was filled with exciting informative sessions, break-out rooms and somewhat entertainment as well.
The program was inaugurated by the chief guest Honorable Minister Uma Regmi, Ministry of Women Children and Senior Citizens. Honorable Member Lily Thapa, National Human Rights Commission, Honorable Member Bidya Kumari Sinha, National Women Commission were the special guests for the first day of NCM. Mr. Balendra Shah, Mayor and Ms. Sunita Dangol, Deputy Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City along with Honorable Member of Parliament along with Veteran Actor of Nepal movie industry Ms. Karishma Manandhar were the special guests for the second day.
We had LGBTIQA+ individuals from across Nepal as well as important stakeholders participating in the NCM.
